This municipality is a one of a kind: its territory is a mixture of what we expect to find in Charlevoix. The particularity of Petite-Rivière-Saint-Francois is that everything is bigger: higher mountains, wider river banks, deeper historical roots, and a village extending on a larger coastal proportion.

In Charlevoix, mainly known for its nature and culture, you will discover a very nice place to ski. The mountain of Petite-Rivière-Saint-Francois is 770 meters high and constitutes the most important part of the east of the Canadian Rockies. As part of the Charlevoix World Biosphere Reserve, this site has been developed respecting its natural environment.
